Korean Air Prestige Suites Business Class to Seoul Incheon (ICN) is one of the strongest US-Korea Business products: Prestige Suites 2.0 (1-2-1, sliding doors kept open in flight for now) on the 787-10 and refitted 777-300ERs, and the original Prestige Suites on the 747-8I, 787-9 and many 777-300ERs. Non-stop from 11 US gateways. Asiana merges into Korean Air on December 17, 2026, so Korean Air is the safer pick for cabin consistency.

## How much does Korean Air Business Class to Seoul cost?

Korean Air Business Class to Seoul Incheon flies Prestige Suites 2.0 (1-2-1, sliding doors kept open in flight pending regulatory approval) on the 787-10 to San Francisco and Seattle, and A380, 747-8I, 777-300ER and 787-9 aircraft on other US routes. Non-stop from JFK, BOS, IAD, ATL, ORD, DFW, LAS, LAX, SFO, SEA and HNL, the most US gateway coverage of any Asian carrier. Through a consolidator, LAX-ICN Business typically prices $3,000-$4,400 round-trip. With the Korean Air + Asiana merger, Korean Air is the surviving brand.

- Prestige Suites 2.0: 1-2-1 lie-flat, sliding doors (open in flight for now)
- Prestige Suites 2.0 on 787-10 + refitted 777-300ER
- LAX-ICN round-trip consolidator: $3,000-$4,400
- 11 US non-stop gateways (most of any Asian Business operator)

Fare bands by US origin

## Korean Air Business Class fares from each US gateway

Round-trip consolidator fare bands in shoulder season (April-May, September-October). Peak summer and holiday windows typically run 30-50% higher.

| US Origin | Fare band | Flight time | Cabin / aircraft |
|---|---|---|---|
| LAX | $3,000-$4,400 | ~12h 30m eastbound | A380 + 747-8I, 2x daily |
| SFO | $3,000-$4,400 | ~12h eastbound | Daily 787-10 Prestige Suites 2.0 |
| SEA | $3,000-$4,400 | ~11h 30m eastbound | 787-10 Prestige Suites 2.0, up to 2x daily |
| JFK | $3,400-$5,200 | ~14h 30m eastbound | A380 + 777-300ER, 2x daily |
| ATL | $3,400-$5,000 | ~14h 30m eastbound | Daily 777-300ER |
| ORD | $3,200-$4,800 | ~13h 30m eastbound | Daily 777-300ER |
| IAD | $3,400-$5,000 | ~14h eastbound | Daily 777-300ER |
| DFW | $3,200-$4,800 | ~13h 30m eastbound | 787-9 or 777-300ER |

## Prestige Suites 2.0 cabin

Korean Air Prestige Suites 2.0 is the Business Class cabin on the 787-10 (since 2024) and the refitted 777-300ERs (since September 2025). It is 1-2-1 lie-flat with direct aisle access and 130cm sliding doors, but the doors have stayed open in flight pending regulatory approval. 21-inch seat width, bed of about 78 inches, 23.8-inch screen, full bedding service. Other Korean Air widebodies fly the original Prestige Suites (no door) or the older Prestige Sleeper.

The cabin design is conservative-modern with Korean aesthetic touches: subtle navy + cream color palette, leather + wood accents, dedicated stowage at each seat. Service style is precise + formal Korean-style, with both Korean and Western dual menus available on every flight.

## The Korean Air + Asiana merger context

Korean Air closed its Asiana acquisition in December 2024, and Asiana merges into Korean Air on December 17, 2026, the day after it leaves Star Alliance. For US-Seoul travelers in 2026:

Korean Air remains the surviving brand with the broader US network and the newer Prestige Suites 2.0 cabin. Asiana keeps flying LAX, JFK and SFO under its own brand until December 16, 2026 (its Seattle flight moves to Korean Air from October 12, 2026), and some of those flights then switch to Korean Air aircraft. For booking certainty + cabin consistency, Korean Air is the safer pick.

See our \[Korean Air vs Asiana comparison\](/korean-air-vs-asiana) for the full cabin-by-cabin breakdown of the two carriers during the merger transition.

## SKYPASS or partner miles

Korean Air SKYPASS (the home program) charges 62,500 miles one-way off-peak (92,500 peak) for US-ICN Prestige, plus taxes. SKYPASS is relatively hard to accumulate from US-side cards (no major US transferable currency partnership; Chase left in 2018 and Marriott Bonvoy in June 2024, so the US Bank SKYPASS card is the main path). For US-side accessible miles to Korean Air Business:

Delta SkyMiles (SkyTeam partner) prices Korean Air Business dynamically. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club charges 85,000 points one-way from the West Coast (100,000 from most other US gateways) plus taxes, often the best US-side accessible redemption (transfer from Amex / Chase / Citi / Capital One / Bilt at 1:1).

## Frequently asked

### How much does Korean Air Business Class to Seoul cost?

Through a consolidator in shoulder season: LAX-ICN or SFO-ICN or SEA-ICN Business round-trip typically $3,000-$4,400; ORD-ICN or DFW-ICN $3,200-$4,800; JFK-ICN or ATL-ICN or IAD-ICN $3,400-$5,200. The published fare on koreanair.com for the same flights typically runs $5,500-$7,200.

### Is Korean Air or Asiana better for US to Korea Business Class?

Korean Air for cabin consistency. Korean Air Prestige Suites give every seat direct aisle access, and Prestige Suites 2.0 on the 787-10 adds sliding doors that currently stay open in flight. Asiana Business Smartium (staggered 1-2-1 on the A380 and A350) is competitive; some older Asiana 777s have the 2-2-2 angle-flat cabin (avoid). Asiana merges into Korean Air on December 17, 2026, so Korean Air is the safer pick for late-2026 bookings. See our \[Korean vs Asiana\](/korean-air-vs-asiana) comparison for full details.

### Where can I use Seoul as a connecting hub?

Incheon (ICN) is one of the strongest Asia connecting hubs. Korean Air operates 60+ destinations from ICN with same-day Business connections to Tokyo (NRT, HND), Osaka, Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, and most major Asian capitals. For US-onward-to-Southeast-Asia, Korean Air via ICN is competitive with Cathay via HKG or Singapore via SIN.

### Can I redeem AAdvantage for Korean Air Business?

No. Korean Air is a founding SkyTeam member and has never been in Oneworld, so AAdvantage cannot book it. For US-side accessible miles to Korean Air: Virgin Atlantic Flying Club at 85,000 points one-way from the West Coast is the best value (transfer from Amex / Chase / Citi / Capital One / Bilt at 1:1). Delta SkyMiles and Flying Blue also book Korean Air at dynamic prices.

### What is the Korean Air lounge at Incheon like?

Korean Air's Prestige Lounges at Incheon Terminal 2 were renovated in phases from August 2025 to April 2026 and are among the strongest Asian Business lounges: hot Korean + Western food (including dedicated bibimbap + ramen stations), full bar with Korean traditional drinks + premium wines, shower suites, dedicated quiet area, and traditional Korean hanok-themed design. SkyTeam Elite Plus members also have access via partner status.

### How does a Business Class consolidator price compare to the airline website?

A contracted consolidator typically prices 30-60% below the airline's published Business Class fare on the same flight. Same airline, same cabin, same seat, same lounge access, same baggage. Only the fare class differs - consolidators access privately filed fare buckets (I, Z, P, R or airline-specific codes) that the airline files for distribution only through accredited agencies in exchange for volume commitments.

### Will I earn frequent flyer miles on a consolidator Business Class ticket?

Yes, in almost all cases. Tickets are issued in standard fare classes that earn miles in the airline's frequent flyer program at the rates published for the fare class. Some heavily-discounted contract buckets earn at 50-75% of distance flown instead of 125-150%. We confirm the exact earning rate on every quote before you ticket.

### What should I verify in writing before paying any travel agency?

Six items: (1) ARC, IATA, or IATAN accreditation; (2) fare basis specified in writing; (3) aircraft type confirmed; (4) baggage allowance in writing; (5) refund / change policy in writing; (6) credit card payment accepted. Reputable agencies will provide all six before any deposit; walk away from anyone who will not.

## Fare information & legal notice

At Business Class Travel, all fares are transparently displayed in USD and include all taxes, fees, and surcharges. Quoted prices are 'from' rates per person, typically for weekday (Monday-Thursday) Business Class travel originating in the USA, with the final price varying based on your chosen cabin, departure city, airline, and route. Generally, the lowest transatlantic fares depart from the East Coast, transpacific from the West Coast, and Latin American routes from Florida. To offer you unique value, some partner airline or itinerary details may remain confidential online until the time of booking, allowing us to secure savings of up to 60% off full unrestricted fares from major airlines, though actual savings vary by specific fare rules. Please note that some airlines may charge extra for baggage, and all our special fares are subject to seat availability, which is limited and may not be available on all flights or dates. We are pleased that many of our partner airlines currently offer flexible booking policies, including free exchanges and/or cancellations; typically, cancellations result in an airline travel credit (less any airline fees) valid per the airline's policy, while exchanges may incur a fare difference. Fares and their governing rules are subject to change without prior notice, and other restrictions may apply. The Business Class Travel team is always here to assist with any questions.
