## How much does Singapore Airlines Business Class to Singapore cost?

Singapore Airlines flies Business Class non-stop to Singapore from New York JFK, Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, all on the A350 with a 1-2-1 cabin. The JFK and Newark flights use the A350-900ULR, among the longest flights in the world. Through a consolidator, JFK-SIN Business typically prices $3,800-$5,400 round-trip and LAX/SFO $3,400-$4,900. Skytrax ranks it #2 for Business Class in 2026.

- A350-900ULR JFK/EWR-SIN: about 18-19 hours non-stop
- Non-stops from JFK, EWR, LAX, SFO and SEA, all A350
- JFK-SIN round-trip consolidator: $3,800-$5,400
- A380 + Singapore Suites reach the US only via Frankfurt (JFK-FRA-SIN)

Fare bands by US origin

## Singapore Airlines Business Class fares from each US gateway

Round-trip consolidator fare bands in shoulder season (April-May, September-October). Peak summer and holiday windows typically run 30-50% higher.

| US Origin | Fare band | Flight time | Cabin / aircraft |
|---|---|---|---|
| JFK | $3,800-$5,400 | ~18-19h | Daily A350-900ULR Business (no Economy cabin) |
| EWR | $3,800-$5,400 | ~18-19h | Daily A350-900ULR Business (no Economy cabin) |
| LAX | $3,400-$4,900 | ~17h | Daily A350-900 Business |
| SFO | $3,400-$4,900 | ~17h | Daily A350-900 Business |
| SEA | $3,800-$5,000 | ~16h | Daily A350-900 Business |

## Among the longest flights in the world

Singapore Airlines' New York JFK and Newark non-stops to Singapore are among the longest commercial flights in the world, at roughly 18 to 19 hours. Both use the A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range), configured with no Economy seats: 67 Business + 94 Premium Economy seats only, for a quieter, less crowded long-haul cabin.

Business on Singapore's A350s is the airline's 2013-generation seat in a 1-2-1 layout, so every passenger has direct aisle access. At about 28 inches it is one of the widest Business seats flying. The trade-offs: the crew flips the seatback over to make the bed, and the angled footwell means most people sleep slightly diagonally; bulkhead rows have a full-width footrest. A new closing-door Business suite for the A350 fleet is now expected in the first quarter of 2027.

## Where the A380 and Singapore Suites fit

No US-Singapore non-stop uses the A380. Singapore's A380, with its upper-deck Business cabin and the six-suite Singapore Suites First Class, reaches the US only on the New York JFK-Frankfurt-Singapore route, so flying it from the US means that one-stop routing or a connection onto another A380 service.

Singapore Suites is a private suite with a closing door and a separate bed and seat; the partition between center suites lowers for couples. Published fares typically run $9,000-$15,000 round-trip, and consolidator pricing is rarely below $7,000-$9,000. With only six suites per A380, book well ahead.

## KrisFlyer or partner miles redemption

KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines' own program. It is a 1:1 transfer partner of Amex Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou and Capital One, and adds no fuel surcharges to awards on Singapore's own flights. The catch is availability: Business saver seats rarely go to partner programs, so KrisFlyer is usually the only way to book them with miles.

Star Alliance partners such as Air Canada Aeroplan and United MileagePlus can book Singapore flights only when saver space is released to partners, which is uncommon on the US non-stops. When award space is thin, a contracted cash fare is often the better value.

## Frequently asked

### How much does Singapore Airlines Business to Singapore cost?

Through a consolidator in shoulder season: JFK-SIN or EWR-SIN Business (the A350-900 ULR non-stop) typically $3,800-$5,400 round-trip; LAX-SIN or SFO-SIN Business $3,400-$4,900 (often cheaper than the East Coast non-stop because of competitive pricing on the West Coast); SEA-SIN $3,800-$5,000.

### Is the 18-hour JFK-SIN flight actually comfortable in Business?

Yes, for most travelers. The A350-900ULR is a quieter cabin (no Economy in the back) with 1-2-1 Business seats about 28 inches wide, all with direct aisle access. Most people sleep slightly diagonally because of the angled footwell; bulkhead rows avoid that. The 18+ hour flight is genuinely tolerable in Business. Whether it is preferable to a 1-stop routing via DOH on Qatar (US-DOH-SIN, total ~22 hours including layover) is a personal preference; many travelers prefer the non-stop despite the length.

### Can I book the Singapore Suites cabin through a consolidator?

Yes, but availability is constrained, and Singapore Suites does not fly on any US-Singapore non-stop: from the US it is on the New York JFK-Frankfurt-Singapore A380. Through a consolidator, Singapore Suites round-trip typically prices $7,000-$9,000 (vs $11,000-$15,000 retail on singaporeair.com). Book 4-6 months ahead; the cabin sells out quickly on peak dates. For travelers who specifically want the Singapore Suites experience, this is the most premium commercial flight available.

### Should I fly Singapore non-stop or one-stop via Tokyo or Hong Kong?

Non-stop is preferable for time + simplicity but more expensive. JFK-SIN non-stop in about 18-19 hours saves 2-4 hours over a typical Tokyo or Hong Kong connection (NRT or HND connection adds 4-6 hours total trip time). One-stop alternatives: ANA via NRT (JFK-NRT-SIN), Cathay via HKG (JFK-HKG-SIN), or Qatar via DOH (JFK-DOH-SIN). One-stop options are often $500-$1,500 cheaper than the non-stop. For business travelers prioritizing time, non-stop. For leisure travelers prioritizing total cost, one-stop wins.

### What is the deal with the no-First-Class A350-900 ULR?

Singapore configured the A350-900 ULR with no Economy and no First Class - just 67 Business + 94 Premium Economy seats. The aircraft's extended-range capability means it can fly 9,500+ miles, but the trade-off is fewer revenue seats per flight. By offering only Business + Premium Economy, Singapore optimizes the route for premium-cabin travelers; the cabin is quieter and feels less crowded than a typical long-haul A350. For travelers who want the ultra-long-haul experience without the cabin density of a 3-class aircraft, the ULR is the right pick.

### How does a Business Class consolidator price compare to the airline website?

A contracted consolidator typically prices 30-60% below the airline's published Business Class fare on the same flight. Same airline, same cabin, same seat, same lounge access, same baggage. Only the fare class differs - consolidators access privately filed fare buckets (I, Z, P, R or airline-specific codes) that the airline files for distribution only through accredited agencies in exchange for volume commitments.

### Will I earn frequent flyer miles on a consolidator Business Class ticket?

Yes, in almost all cases. Tickets are issued in standard fare classes that earn miles in the airline's frequent flyer program at the rates published for the fare class. Some heavily-discounted contract buckets earn at 50-75% of distance flown instead of 125-150%. We confirm the exact earning rate on every quote before you ticket.

### What should I verify in writing before paying any travel agency?

Six items: (1) ARC, IATA, or IATAN accreditation; (2) fare basis specified in writing; (3) aircraft type confirmed; (4) baggage allowance in writing; (5) refund / change policy in writing; (6) credit card payment accepted. Reputable agencies will provide all six before any deposit; walk away from anyone who will not.

## Fare information & legal notice

At Business Class Travel, all fares are transparently displayed in USD and include all taxes, fees, and surcharges. Quoted prices are 'from' rates per person, typically for weekday (Monday-Thursday) Business Class travel originating in the USA, with the final price varying based on your chosen cabin, departure city, airline, and route. Generally, the lowest transatlantic fares depart from the East Coast, transpacific from the West Coast, and Latin American routes from Florida. To offer you unique value, some partner airline or itinerary details may remain confidential online until the time of booking, allowing us to secure savings of up to 60% off full unrestricted fares from major airlines, though actual savings vary by specific fare rules. Please note that some airlines may charge extra for baggage, and all our special fares are subject to seat availability, which is limited and may not be available on all flights or dates. We are pleased that many of our partner airlines currently offer flexible booking policies, including free exchanges and/or cancellations; typically, cancellations result in an airline travel credit (less any airline fees) valid per the airline's policy, while exchanges may incur a fare difference. Fares and their governing rules are subject to change without prior notice, and other restrictions may apply. The Business Class Travel team is always here to assist with any questions.
