The Indian Subcontinent — India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh — is one of the most reward-rich Business Class destinations from the US. Direct flying is limited; the strongest itineraries use the Gulf or European one-stop hubs to reach Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Colombo, or Malé in lie-flat comfort.
Our preferred carriers: Qatar Qsuite (DOH), Emirates (DXB), Etihad (AUH), Turkish Airlines (IST), British Airways (LHR), Air France/KLM (CDG/AMS), and Lufthansa (FRA/MUC). Each opens a different sub-region at a different price point — and Air India Business Class on direct routes (Delhi, Mumbai) has improved meaningfully on the new fleet.
Indian Subcontinent travel is dominated by monsoon timing and winter peaks.
Nov – Feb
Cool, dry, peak tourism. Maldives on top of the global luxury wishlist. Business fares firmest — especially Christmas/NYE.
March – April, October
Pleasant for India/Sri Lanka pre-monsoon. Best Business Class value of the year.
June – Sept
Cheapest Business Class fares. Heavy rains in India/Sri Lanka; Maldives marginally affected.
Direct Air India Business or one-stop Gulf/European routing — the choice depends heavily on where in the Subcontinent you’re going.
Qatar JFK–DOH–MLE (Maldives) is among the best Business Class deals to Malé.
Direct Air India Business JFK–DEL/BOM is the fastest option but pricier than one-stop alternatives.
Bengaluru (BLR) is more easily reached one-stop via Doha or Frankfurt than via Delhi or Mumbai.
The Maldives onward from Malé is Business-Class-relevant primarily on seaplane / private flight (booked separately).
Avoid late Oct festival travel (Diwali) for India-internal connections.
On the new fleet (787-9, A350-900), yes — markedly improved hard product and consistent operations on JFK and EWR routes. Older aircraft are worth avoiding.
For peak-season travel, we typically recommend 8–12 weeks. Off-peak Business Class fares often have a sweet spot 4–6 weeks out, when revenue management releases additional contract inventory. Our advisors monitor pricing daily on your route.
Yes — a ±3 day window on departure and return often unlocks an additional 15–30% savings on the same route. Mention any flexibility when you submit a quote and we’ll search the broader window.
Absolutely. Open-jaw, mixed-cabin, and stopover routings are a core part of what we do. We price them by hand using fare rules that retail booking sites can’t access.
All taxes, fees, and surcharges are included — the price we quote is the price you pay. Most fares also include checked baggage, lounge access, and priority services. Specific airline rules apply per fare and are confirmed before you book.
For over a decade, our team of dedicated travel advisors has been building long-term relationships with luxury travelers who refuse to settle for ordinary. We're not a booking engine — we're the people who pick up the phone at 2 a.m. when your flight is delayed and rebook you in a window seat with a glass of champagne.
