Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Travel Tuesday is December 1. Here is what airlines put on sale in Business Class last year, the fine print that came with it, and how to tell whether a sale fare is really the best price for your trip.
Travel Tuesday is Hopper's name for the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (it calls the day Travel Deal Tuesday and says it started it in 2017). Airline sales often run across the whole stretch, from the week before Black Friday to Travel Tuesday.
What airlines offered in the 2025 Black Friday to Travel Tuesday week, as reported at the time. These sales are over; they show what to expect, not what will repeat.
Airline terms as reported by the airline or by deal publications at the time; see sources below. No airline had announced a 2026 Business Class sale as of October 30, 2026. We will add them here as they are announced.
The evidence is thin, and there is none for Business Class specifically. KAYAK's 2018 search data found median fares about 6-10% lower on Black Friday for some regions and about 5% lower on Cyber Monday. Hopper's well-known Travel Tuesday figures count the number of deals and best-case savings for select users rather than average fares.
Sales also come back. British Airways listed New York-London in Club World at $3,080 round trip in its January 2026 sale, within about 3% of its Travel Tuesday price. And holiday fares are high this year: Hopper's 2026 holiday outlook put Thanksgiving and Christmas fares at a 10-year high, citing jet fuel costs. The practical test: compare any sale fare with the same route a week or two earlier, and if a good fare appears before Black Friday, take it.
Card transfer bonuses cluster in November too. In 2025, Chase offered a 40% (later 30%) bonus to Virgin Atlantic, Capital One 20% to British Airways Avios, and Bilt up to 100% to Etihad on November 1 and to British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus Avios on December 1. As of late October 2026, Capital One's 30% bonus to Virgin Atlantic runs through November 20 and Citi's 10% bonus to Cathay Pacific through November 14.
Send your route and dates. Your advisor checks the airline's own sale fare, if there is one on your route, against our contracted fares, and sends the better option in writing with the fare rules, change terms and aircraft spelled out. Contracted fares are not tied to a one-week sale window, so if the sale misses your dates, the quote still stands.
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26). Cyber Monday is November 30 and Travel Tuesday is Tuesday, December 1, 2026.
Travel Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, when travel brands publish post-Black Friday deals. Hopper says it created the day, which it calls Travel Deal Tuesday, in 2017. In 2026 it falls on December 1.
In 2025, British Airways, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, TAP Air Portugal and La Compagnie all ran sales from US gateways that included Business Class. As of October 30, 2026, no airline had announced its 2026 Business Class sale; in 2024 and 2025 most announcements came in mid to late November.
Sometimes. The best 2025 examples were real, such as British Airways Club World from New York to London at $2,999 round trip. But the windows were short, seats were limited to specific fare classes, holiday dates were blacked out, and "up to" discounts applied to the base fare only. British Airways listed the same route at $3,080 in its January 2026 sale, so a Black Friday fare is not always a one-off.

Rarely. The 2025 Business Class sales mostly blacked out the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year weeks or started travel after the holidays (British Airways from December 10, TAP from January 31, Cathay from January 10). For holiday dates, book as early as you can rather than waiting for a sale.
Send us your route and dates. During the sales your advisor checks the airline's own sale fare against our contracted fares and quotes the better option in writing, with the fare rules spelled out. Contracted fares are not tied to a one-week sale window, so the quote stands on its own merits either way.
Send your route and dates. You get a written quote within hours with the better of the two, plus the fare rules, so you can book before the sale window closes.
