Flexible dates and the magic of the ±3 day window

A small flexibility in your departure and return dates can unlock 20–30% more savings on Business Class. Here’s why and how to use it.

Airline revenue management is dynamic — fares fluctuate by date, day of week, season, and even by how many premium seats are still available on a given departure. The cheapest Business Class fare on any given route is rarely on the exact dates you first thought of.

A flexibility window of ±3 days on departure and return often unlocks an additional 15–30% savings on the same route, same airline, same cabin. The advisor’s job is to scan the broader window and surface the cheapest combination that still works for you.

In our experience, weekday departures (Tuesday–Thursday) tend to price below weekend departures by a noticeable margin, even in Business Class. Combining weekday departures with shoulder-season travel can produce the deepest discounts.

When you submit a quote request, mention any flexibility you have — even a single day either side. We’ll search the window and quote both the exact-date and best-flex options so you can compare side by side.
