Qatar Qsuite review

Three reasons: (1) true closing doors on every suite (not just curtains or partial dividers); (2) centre suites where two travelers can turn their seats into a double bed; (3) a refined, fully flat hard product on the A350-1000, with a premium soft product and excellent Middle Eastern cuisine. Skytrax named Qatar the World's Best Business Class in 2026, for the 13th time.

In 2026, Qsuite is on every A350-1000, most 777-300ERs and 777-200LRs, and about a third of the A350-900 fleet. The other A350-900s and some 777s still have an older Business Class cabin (no closing door). Verify aircraft on every quote, the route can have different cabins on different days. The 787-9 has a different Business suite that also has a door. Qatar has unveiled Qsuite Next Gen, a redesigned version expected on new A350-1000 deliveries and the 777-9, but has not confirmed dates.

On centre-row Qsuites, two adjacent suites can be combined by retracting the partition between them, creating a single double bed for two passengers. Qatar markets this as the only "true" Business Class double bed (some competitors offer "couple seats" with raised dividers, but Qatar offers a flat double bed). For couples or families traveling together, the centre Qsuites are the seat to request.

Different strengths. Emirates A380 Business has the Onboard Lounge advantage (social bar space) and chauffeur drive on eligible US Business fares. Qatar Qsuite has the closing-door suite (privacy advantage) and the double-bed centre option. Skytrax and AirlineRatings both ranked Qatar's Business Class first in 2026. On overall experience including hub lounges (Al Mourjan at DOH vs Emirates DXB lounges), DOH is the deeper experience.

In 2026 Qatar flies non-stop to Doha from 12 US gateways: New York JFK, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Philadelphia (resumed August 2026). From September 16, 2026 to March 24, 2027, Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco run four times a week and Miami daily. There is no Newark service. Qsuite is on most but not all of Qatar's long-haul aircraft, so confirm the aircraft for your date. From Doha, onward Business Class reaches most of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Features: indoor garden, several dining venues, shower spa, quiet rooms with loungers, and quiet zones; Skytrax named it the World's Best Business Class Lounge in 2026. Open to Qatar Business (except Business Lite fares) and First passengers. Allow 90+ minutes layover in Doha to use properly. The Al Mourjan Garden Lounge alone justifies routing through Doha.

Through a contracted consolidator, JFK-DOH Qsuite round-trip is regularly $3,200 – $3,800 in shoulder season. Onward Business to Asia, Africa, or Australia from Doha typically priced reasonably as add-ons.

Published Qsuite round-trips from the US to Doha typically run $4,200-$5,800 off-peak and $5,400-$6,800 in peak season, using New York JFK as the benchmark (September 2026). Through a contracted consolidator, JFK-Doha Qsuite regularly books at $3,200-$3,800 round-trip in shoulder season, and onward Qsuite connections to India, Asia or Africa add a modest amount.
